Notes:	This skills session is open to all HMHN employees who have completed the online NRP program from the AAP. Your position must require this certification to attend this skills session. All completed work must be emailed to MelissaI.Hernandez@HMHN.org 48 hours prior to the event for verification. NRP Provider Course 9th Edition

The Neonatal Resuscitation Program has been designed by the American Academy of Pediatrics to teach an evidence-based approach to resuscitation of the newborn. The causes, prevention, and management of mild to severe neonatal asphyxia are carefully explained so that health professionals may develop optimal knowledge and skill in resuscitation. The Neonatal Resuscitation Program is an educational program that introduces the concepts and basic skills of neonatal resuscitation.

Completition of the Online Portion of this course is mandatory. The skills session for this program is open to all HMH Team Members who need to carry NRP for their job description. If you are looking to obtain NRP outside of your job description please contact the Life Support Training Center for other options. 

Once you complete the online you will forward your completition information to the NRP Instructor for verificaiton to be added to NRP platform for card processing. If online work is not received you will be cancelled. Seats are very limited if you need to cancel please call the Life Support Training Center to cancel 732-776-4470
